Help: Tools - Clients

Use this to record all of your clients and their details. Some of these details are automatically pulled into your invoices in the Invoicing tool, to minimise the time you need to spend producing these. 

  1. Click on Add a client
  2. Fill in the various tabs with as much or as little information as you wish. Bear in mind that for invoicing purposes, you will need to specify the name and address of the company that you are invoicing ("Company & contact" and "Phones & address" tabs). 
  3. "Invoicing" tab:
    1. add client-specific prefixes and suffixes, which will be added to your invoice numbers - optional
    2. the last invoice counter automatically increases as you produce your invoices i.e. your next invoice number for this client = "Last invoice counter" +1.
    3. "Invoice text" - this is added to your default invoice company text whenever you create an invoice for this company. 

Click save to add a new client. They will be added to your list of clients where you see their key information, and can be edited again by clicking the 'edit' icon to the left.
